BUT MORE importantly...
thinking about my best friends wedding... making strategic plans around avoiding not looking like a ghost or having nasty bike tan lines...I missed out on the Vera Wang Bridal Shopping----tears..thats okay because its going to be over the top fun! Will see you very soon K!
So adventures on the bike continue...but not overly as exciting as Vera Wang Bridal Shopping....
Black Dog off Leash...
A big dog was walking its master down the road, traffic was busy dodging potholes at high speeds and, I was somewhat feeling the aftermath of many sprints....The dog began to drag its master down the road, I slow down...thinking maybe even about getting off for this one and getting the bike dog shield out...thought about cross the road but traffic was busy speeding around potholes/me..... Time to control the situation and the outcome (no trips to the emergency room). I slowed down sprayed the dog with some HEED in the face and TT it out there. Left behind was one confused and happy dog liking his chops of HEED...so not sure if this was the proper dog bike protocol----that dog was off his leash.
Nice ride on Friday of mud road and icy/snow terror...while others were being birds in the sky or riding bikes Pisgah.....Somehow convinced myself that this sloow ride was going to get better...it didn't and I was lonely so head back to the dirt road......for whatever it was worth..."you maybe getting better today or you maybe getting worse but you are not staying the same".
So decided to retreat to the country island. Not sure if I encountered any traffic at all. Country dog, lying in the middle of the road barely lifted his head from the ground. Also very scenic ride down fun muddy mix terrain dirt road through Maple Trees (hmmm Maple Syrup...yum) very nice. Had the chance to see a group of wild Turkey's on the road up close--very ugly looking thing...but.....hmmm....tasty.
Can't wait to do girlie things in the city and riding bikes...
