We need to make sure nobody had a gun to your head...

..the police was not the early morning wake up call I was hoping for.

I awoke from a very deep sleep early Saturday morning to nice lady asking "are you ok? this is 911".
There was a slight delay before  I actually clued into what was going down.....my phone requires user passwords for work and has a security feature that has emergency dial option and somehow this option was activated. I told her I was fine and explained what happened. She proceed with many questions...the exact address of where I was in Barrie....why I didn't know exactly where I was (street name or number)...followed by ever more questions "are you alone? If you don't know where you are, how can I be sure someone does not have a gun to your head and your just not telling me where you are and that you are fine".....I suppose she had a point.  I gave her the address and she was sending the police.  Police officer lady was nice, said they need to check on everyone and they get lots of these calls.....oopsy.

First Ontario Cup of the year was in Mansfield, Ontario on the weekend. Excited to hang with the Wild Betty's and race my bike! A Captain Scott pre ride super speedy off the breaks session was much appreciated, may have saved me in time in the end.

The race went well and better than expected minus a few things...

.... crossed a few wheels at start of race and got knocked off my bike lost my water bottle.

Felt thirsty. Third lap felt great and comfy for another few laps around again but the race was over. oh well till next time !!! I have to admit not my favourite type of mountain bike racing going around and around and around on the same course...

EPIC STAGE RACING

Went for a  night ride and it was fun.  There was a Norco ninja in the forrest who jumped a rock and then blinded me with his super lights in the pine trees.  We ate ice-cream and nobody died....

Cheers.
